TurtleShell is a web3 initiative designed to bolster the security of DeFi protocols by introducing on-chain Firewalls also know as Circuit Breakers under the development of [EIP-7265](https://cointelegraph.com/learn/articles/erc-7265-eth-token-standard-for-defi-security) , to detect malicious activity on protocols and prevent hacks

Whenever abnormal activity occurs, TurtleShell Firewall’s offers a range of protective measures, including transaction blocking, protocol pausing, fund freezing, or controlled fund withdrawal, thereby providing a robust defence against potential hacks.
